From the US, the CDC has announced that one in five Americans cannot afford health insurance. This is alarming for this comes to a number in the 40 million of the whole population. The report states that affordable health care is just not affordable enough and reforms to the said health care system truly are needed. This is why many Presidential candidates have used the said area for their platforms to bring health care to everybody and not just the regular health care packages but quality health care.

In another twist of health related news, another survey in the United States government has released. It seems that not all hospitals are equipped to handle pediatric patients. This is also another blow to the health care system that is already plagued by many problems. So people are advised to check with their local hospitals for such facilities if they exist so they would know where to take their children in case of emergency.
